About Friends of Rome Lab

 Friends of Rome Lab was established in 1995 as a social support organization for the spouses of military and civilian employees of Rome Research Site in Rome, New York. Our goal is to develop a sense of community for new arrivals, provide information and orientation to the Central New York area, and to serve as a vehicle to develop new friendships.

We have a Coffee get together one evening a month at a member's home. It is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn about the area, and discuss the organization's activities for the month.

The Coffees are scheduled to occur monthly on the second Tuesday. . .

2007 Committees

  • FRL Lead: Jessica
    Contact and involved in all aspects of FRL, organizes monthly coffees.
     
  • FRL Meals: Katie
    Coordinates meals for those members in need.
     
  • Newsletter/Web: Deb
    Keeps minutes of meetings, writes monthly newsletter, maintains web site and roster.
     
  • Treasurer: Kelly
    Responsible for balancing budget.
     

 If you decide you would like to join, dues are $12 to cover activities and 12 stamps for your newsletter postage.
